Xtreme International Ice Racing kick off their second season once again at U.S. Bank Arena here in Cincinnati, Jan. 7-8, ‘05. Laura and I went on a whim last January after hearing shortly beforehand about their debut event. We didn’t really know what to expect, even though I’d caught some European Speedway racing on SPEED. It ended up being a great time, and we went back the second night, this time with camera. Cheap tickets, lots of mechanical music, and lurid sliding…hard to beat that for entertainment!
