I had completely forgotten about playing BATracer in its previous incarnation a few years ago, before seeing it discussed on a forum recently. It claims to be playable in five minutes a day, which sounds about right.
There are currently 4 series in which to participate: 2002 and 2006 season F1, generic BTCC, and a just unveiled mid ’90’s ChampCar series.
The actual racing is automated, with the only player input being adjusting the set-up and strategy. At the moment, I’m plodding along midpack at Williams in ‘06 F1, and holding my own in my E46 BTCC tintop.
Quite the addicitive little diversion!
