Stopped at an ATM tonight, and was reminded of one of life’s great mysteries. At the prompt to enter your PIN, it notes the button to “Press if Correct.” Fair enough, but which button should you push if you’re feeling daft and wish to input a decidedly incorrect PIN?
I stopped into Chipotle last week to pick up dinner for Laura and I. As I skimmed CityBeat whilst waiting in line, my ears perked up trying figure out what was playing overhead. By the time the chorus came around, I’d figured it out: a flamenco version of David Bowie’s Rebel Rebel. A truly inspired cover. I opted to leave with food in hand rather than wait around for a hotel bar piano jazz version of Smells Like Teen Spirit . Here we are now, entertain us, indeed!
Used the Quicktime feature on my camera to snag a clip of the Penske Porsche RS Spyder’s exhaust note, which is very reminiscent of an old Cosworth DFX-powered Champ Car.
As I find myself older than I’ve ever been, and now I’m even older, I find my eyebrows taking on a life of their own.
Perhaps a function of near-thirtydom. After a bit of contemplation, I was able to come to one diagnosis:

Fellow sim-racer Dave Thibodeau is running the One Lap of America in his Cooper S. Another MINI in the field is being driven by one of the HPDE3 guys I led at Mid-Ohio a couple weeks ago.
Good luck guys!
