While I worked in the garage this afternoon, and Laura worked in the back yard, Lantern, our now 11-month old mutt pup we adopted in December, elected to slay the vicious water hose snake (of the cheap, easily kinked species) that has laid coiled behind the garage since being replaced by better hoses last fall.
Lantern gamely gnawed on the hose until it lay dead in the yard, spread into at least three pieces.
